Beauty and Wisdom
Hummingbirds are a symbol of beauty and wisdom for the Navajo. When things of beauty come to you, you give thanks to the hummingbird. There are stories how the hummingbird taught the Navajo how to gather pollen. A double exposure effect was applied to this photograph of a young Navajo woman and a desert floral plant.
