Serenity
Inspiration for this photograph came from R.C. Gorman, a Navajo artist who primarily painted Native American women. My idea was to capture an image that is simple and elegant, but impactful and bold, evoking feeling and thought of the subject. The portrait is a self portrait taken at White Sand National Park in New Mexico.
