Mother's Reflection

When me and my mother-in-law were visiting Canyon de Chelly in the wintertime, the potholes on top of the canyon were full of water. While taking landscape photographs, I noticed my mother-in-laws reflection and thought it would be a great photo to capture. This was not a planned shot. I had her remove her coat and she posed perfectly for this beautiful image of an elderly Navajo woman, who was a rug weaver, quilt maker and a loving mother to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
